Bags Bags and More Bags

I demonstrated bag construction at Plym Piecemakers on Tuesday night. So I had to make some new bags that the ladies had not seen before! So now I got two new bags and three half made, which I used as my 'Blue Peter' demos.
Bag instructions will be posted on the yahoo group site in the next few weeks.

Beans on Toast Quilting Group

I am a member of the Beans on Toast quilting group. We meet every few weeks in each other homes. One member set a challenge in the summer. We were to make a wall hanging using a Chritmas card as the inspiration. I completed my wall hanging the night before our Christmas meeting. This is normal practice for me to leave projects until the last minute!!! What do think of my last minute quilt?
We all gave a fat quarter as winner's prize. Who won? Only the quilter that set the challenge.....
Well Done Anne.

Katipatch Sister Block Exchange

This is the second year I have exchanged blocks with quilters in New Zealand and Australia. These are the blocks I have made and now on their way to Katipatch shop in Katikati NZ. They co-ordinate the exchange. This year Carol and Cindy chose a challenge fabric. It took me a long time to decide on what blocks I would sew as I did not like the fabric initially. But now the fabric has found a small place in my heart and fabric stash!!
When I recieve my blocks from Katipatch I will be posting here first. So do come back in the near future.
If you would like to get involved in next year's Sister Block Exchange check out the Katipatch website.

September Bag

This is last month bag. It is log cabin blocks on point and ready made handles. It is a small bag but it takes a lot of fabric. A great way to use up your scraps.
