Madeleine McCann's 4th anniversary missing.

I cannot even begin to imagine what is it is like to have a very young child go missing.  It was four years ago today that Madeleine went missing.  Let's continue to pray and hope that she will be found alive and well.

Do you remember the little boy called Ben Needham that went missing on the Greek island of Kos on the 24th July 1991. He also needs to be remembered too.  Ben is the same age as my little boy.

There are countless other children missing today.  I feel sad about this but at the same time blessed that I know that my children are safe and well.

To all the parents and familes of missing children -  never give up hope and praying.

Mothering Sunday

It is Mothering Sunday today in Great Britain.  It is later this year, it is normally in March.  I think this is because Easter is also later this year too.

These are photos of my Little Boy and Baby Girl taken at a family wedding last summer.

B.S.T. and Census Day

This is the day that I have been waiting for since October.  Here in Great Britain we changed our clocks to British Summer Time.  That mean we lost an hour's sleep last night.  Which in turns means we start getting lighter evenings. I love B.S.T.  I seam to get much more done with the lighter evenings and warmer days.

The other important thing about today is it is Census Day too.  Every ten years there is a count of the population of Great Britain.  This year we received a booklet that asked all sort of questions.  If any household does not fill their census booklet and return soon there is one thousand pound fine.  There is an option to fill the census online.  I told Mr Daisychain that we should fill in the booklet and let the government transfer the information on to the computer themselves!!

In a hundred years when this census is realised to the public, anyone tracing my family history will find me living in yet another new county.  I wonder where I will be in ten years time?

Katipatch Sister Block Exchange

It is that time of year again for the Katipatch swap.  This year the theme is 'Houses'.

These are the fabrics that were chosen by Carol for this year's blocks.  I only used one fabric, which was the light beige.
