Salt Marshes near Carnac

The Salt Pans of Kervillen Morbihan in Brittany France have over the last few years have been restored and production of salt has resumed.

If you are in the area of Carnac or La Trinite sur Mer, it is really worth a visit as the wild life is stunning.

International Postage

Every year we travel by Brittany Ferries to Brittany France for a holiday.  But this summer/autumn due to the 'virus' we cannot travel.

I love to purchase the french quilting magazines.  It is always my special treat.  The french mags always have excellent articles and projects.  And an extra bonus it helps improve my french language skills.

To help me cope with this 'stay at home and lockdown' summer I ordered a magazine on Ebay.  I was very surprised how quickly it arrive.  With this lovely weather at the moment, I am off to sit in the garden and read.  See you soon..

Winter Solstice

We have arrived again at my favourite time of the year - Winter Solstice.  This year my family and I are celebrating the winter solstice in Brittany France.  The sunset sets an hour later here than in the UK so it feels like spring in Plounevez-Lochrist.
As we wave goodbye to another winter, I would like to wish everyone 'Bon Noel et Bonne Annee'.
